Hi y’all! Happy Tuesday, I hope everyone had an amazing weekend.
I wanted to give y’all an update on my goal throughout my book challenge that I set out for myself. I think my family has also benefitted from it as well. I feel way better now, than I did a few months ago and it wasn’t a hard transition. Being a boxer, we obviously have to follow a very demanding workout schedule and have disciplined eating habits. But since I’m not fighting anytime soon, it was very hard to stick to that and stay motivated to do so. This book has brought prospective to my life.
This past weekend, it was a little tough to stick to it, only because we had a small pool party for my stepson’s birthday. We had a few close friends that came over and we indulged in some not so healthy foods. Although, they were quite tasty, the next day I was feeling sluggish and I didn’t feel too great. You can definitely tell the difference from when I’m sticking to my Always Eat After 7 PM plan and when I don’t.

Our friends also found our book on your shelf and asked about it. So funny, our friend Jared grabbed it and showed it to our other friend Jorge – I guess they had some previous discussions/debates on whether to eat or not late at night. Jorge grabbed the book from Jared, held it up to be, and said, “Hey Betsy, this book, what up?” I couldn’t help but laugh but when explaining to them about it and showing them the fat-burning recipes they were pretty sold and wanted to learn more.
Anyway, this week I wanted to start off right by getting back on track after my not-so-healthy weekend. Yesterday, I started my dad off with some lemon water – the best thing ever and one of the ‘3 Minute Fat-Burning Morning Routine’ recommendations from the book. I love taking this, I honestly haven’t had coffee in about a month now by the way.
Today, I made a new protein smoothie from the book that was just so yummy.
