Alright, I’m not going to lie here – I was never the type who used skincare products or even washed my face. I never put anything in my hair other than shampoo and conditioner and I never took my vitamins – like, I tried and Care helped but it wasn’t a consistent thing. I was just horrible keeping up with it.
I turned thirty last year and everything changed. I don’t know if it was just turning 30 in general or that I freaked about getting and looking old, that I actually took action.
For my bridesmaid’s totes/bags, I got them a bunch of goodies. Around that time, my sister had a new client, Biossance. Not only did I want to support her (because I literally always did, I never bought water bottles until she got Essenita as a client), but Biossance was and is one of the top skincare brands. Anyway, I got my bridesmaids a kit and I got myself one too. My sister had already given me some samples around the time I got engaged and yeah, I didn’t actually try any of them out until November. I immediately regretted not using them when she gave them to me in April.
Anyway, once I tried them out, I was sold! The first two weeks of applying the products, I was like.. wait. No way! My skin felt so good, so hydrated – I was glowing. I couldn’t believe it. I then began to take my Ritual women’s multi-vitamin (get $15 off here) and my HUM hair vitamins as well and it just became the norm for me.
Today, about six or so months later, I’ve added some other daily vitamins, other skincare products and I’ve started to apply hair products, too. Who am I?
I colored my haired back in November and I’ve been trying out a variety of hair products and now there is NO WAY I can leave my bathroom out of the shower without using them.
Here is my list. Yes, I own and use all these products and use/take them on a daily/weekly basis. Also, I can’t take all the credit. A lot of these products were recommended by my sister or best friend and others I was just totally influenced.
Stay safe and healthy out there!
Xo, Betsy Jaramillo
So you
First tone with your favorite toner
Second: apply your fav. oil (vit c, vit e, if you can find them with antioxidants that would be a major plus)
Third: anti-aging serum (I love Clarins double serum- It’s hydrating, evens out skin tone, helps with pore size.
Fourth: morning/night cream
And don’t forget eye cream.
You go from lightest weight product to thickest for the best/deepest penetration.
Think about oil and water which one will go down first? Water and the thickest will stay up top.
What would I do without you?
