Oh hi!
It’s been a long time, I know. I got engaged shortly after relaunching my blog last year and less than six months later, I got married. I can come up with so many excuses as to why I didn’t follow up here but really, planning a wedding is no joke. It’s really crazy to think we were able to get it all done with such a short time frame.
I don’t know if y’all know, but being an influencer/blogger isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. A lot of people think that we live these perfect lives because we get lots of likes, have a following and whatnot and it just means we get a lot of free stuff. But, what people don’t see is the planning, the time, the consistency, the networking, the content strategy and more. And really, it’s a lot. If you want to really do anything with it, you have to put in the work and that takes up a lot of time; which, I didn’t have a lot of last year. Not only was I planning a wedding, but work was crazy (which I took for granted) and on top of that, getting engaged, buying house, moving out of two households into one, getting married, starting a new business with my sister, going on a honeymoon (which, I don’t know about y’all but I regret going on right after the wedding), and then the holiday’s were soon after. I mean, come on. Do y’all blame me for just now following up here?

For a while now, I’ve been wanting to come back on here and I figured, now that we’re all quarantined – it’s the perfect time.
So stay tuned, I’m excited for y’all to see what’s in store for this year – if we every get out of this lockdown. In the meantime, here’s a little preview of everything y’all missed last year. In no particular order – I hope y’all enjoy!
