It’s been about three years since I’ve published or even had my website up and running. I didn’t think I wanted to jump back on here but after going back and forth with it, I realized, if I keep thinking about it, it might as well get it going. Which is why I decided to start from scratch!
A lot has changed since 2016 – I have a new job, new boyfriend, a new apartment and the list goes on and on. I’m definitely not the same person as I was then. Life is very different but so much brighter and I can’t wait to share all the happiness that has come with this change.
My boyfriend Jason is 34, he’s smart, witty and comes with three kids. I never thought I would date someone who has been divorced, let alone with kids and I won’t go into full detail now, other than that I’m incredibly happy. He and the kids are amazing and they are a part of that brightness I mentioned. You’ll see a lot of him and our “new normal” life with the kids. He’s also trying really hard to be a great “Instagram Boyfriend.” It’s definitely new to him but he knows how much I love pretty photos and I love him so much for trying.
I’m also an amateur boxer now with six fights under my belt. I started boxing in the summer of 2016; which, I NEVER thought I would be good at let alone competing. I never really played sports, other than soccer growing up and cheerleading all through middle school and high school. But boxing – who would have thunk it? Boxing has changed my life and for the better. I am more disciplined, I eat better and I am now a morning person who coaches boxing at 6am and trains five-six days a week. Sometimes it’s hard to believe, but I think I found what I’m actually good at and I want to see where this goes until I can’t compete anymore. I’m excited to find out, because I’ll tell you this much – there is nothing like getting in the ring and kicking ass.
Although, a lot has changed, a lot of things are still the same. I’m still the same ambitious girl with a mountain of goals and dreams, living alongside three fur babies. I have many plans for HT and hoping they all come to life this year. I hope you all enjoy what you see and read and I’m excited to get started!
Below is a peak of what 2018 was like for me. Didn’t want to overload with the other two years (says the girl with over 50 pictures down there); but, if you want to see what I was up to in 2016 and 2017, you can take a look at my Instagram page here.
